Natural Gas Processing
The quality of natural gas varies and and can present problems to gas pipelines, distributors, appliance manufacturers and consumers. Because some natural gas must be processed before it meets quality specifications and can be used as fuel, Enogex Products LLC provides processing services to the natural gas industry to ensure that the gas is marketable and safe for delivery to and use by consumers. We operate a treating facility and seven natural gas processing plants in Oklahoma, with another plant under construction.
During gas processing, hydrocarbons, such as ethane and propane, may be extracted from the gas. Because these hydrocarbon byproducts can be used for other types of energy needs, Producers may choose to participate with Enogex for the opportunity to potentially extract additional value from their gas with a Processing Agreement.
Enogex Products actively sells extracted hydrocarbons to large manufacturers for use in the manufacture of non-energy related products. Enogex Products also operates three depropanizers, providing wholesale propane fuel to local retail markets for distribution and use for home heating needs (see Propane Truck Rack Sales).
