Natural gas gathering, processing, transportation and storage are the foundations of Enogex LLC, a natural gas pipeline company based in the major natural gas producing basins of Oklahoma. As an intrastate natural gas pipeline and midstream service provider with more than 50 years in the industry and 7,900 miles of intrastate gas gathering and transportation pipeline, we now operate the 11th largest pipeline network in the country.
Enogex Gas Gathering LLC
Enogex’s businesses are as connected as its pipeline. The first of Enogex's businesses and its pipelines begin at the source of the natural gas supply. Enogex Gas Gathering LLC provides gas gathering services to the many natural gas Producers operating in Oklahoma and parts of Texas. Extending its gathering systems to connect directly to the wellhead, Enogex is able to use its company-owned 500,000 HP compression fleet to efficiently and effectively gather and transport gas production so Producers can take their gas to market to sell. Enogex Gas Gathering also offers competitive prices to Producers to purchase their gas.
Enogex Products LLC
Our gathering pipelines lead to another Enogex business which continues the natural gas supply process, quite literally. Much of the raw natural gas supply gathered by Enogex Gas Gathering must be processed before it can meet quality specifications to be used as fuel. Enogex LLC provides processing services to the natural gas industry. We currently operate seven natural gas processing plants in Oklahoma, with another under construction, as well as a treating facility. Much of the gas from our many gathering systems is delivered to one of our seven plants for processing to ensure that the gas quality is suitable and safe for delivery to and use by consumers.
During gas processing, Enogex Products extracts impurities from the gas stream, as well as valuable hydrocarbons, such as ethane and propane. These hydrocarbons are used for other types of energy needs. Enogex Products sells hydrocarbons directly to large industrial users and acts a wholesale supplier to many retail propane distributors in Oklahoma. Producers are able to participate with Enogex in the processing of gas and continue to extract additional value from their natural gas stream before scheduling it to be transported and delivered to markets for final sale and consumption.
Enogex LLC
The Enogex gathering pipelines and processing tailgates lead and connect to yet a final Enogex business, Enogex LLC. As an intrastate pipeline, Enogex LLC provides natural gas transportation and storage services within the state of Oklahoma to producers, large end-user markets, as well as other energy shippers and marketers. It is able to receive gas from not only Enogex’s own gathering systems and plant tailgates, but it is also able to accept gas from Shippers at 20 major intrastate and interstate pipeline interconnects. Following receipt into its transportation system, Enogex LLC is able to transport gas across Oklahoma on more than 2,318 miles of well-positioned high-pressure transportation lines, which can then be delivered into 26 premium delivery points to be shipped on to other destinations throughout the United States.
